 Bellissa joined Second Life in June 2005. She spent her first
months in self-imposed solitude, learning as much as she
could about this wonderful new world.
Eventually, after venturing out at odd times (exploring was
her favorite pastime) she fell into the creation of tiny
prim jewelry due to the rather 'large' offerings that were
available.
Once she was satisfied with the quality of her work she
decided it was time to find a place to show her work. It was
after renting her first store she met Adrian Harbinger and a
long lasting friendship was born. Through this friendship
she and Adrian were able to build Harbinger's Haven which
went through various transitions and finally settled into
what it is today. Harbinger's Haven Builder's Sandbox.
Over the years Bellissa has helped quite a few people
understand the sometimes frustrating, and often confusing,
mechanics of building and SL in general. The sandbox is
perfect for passing on the knowledge she has gained over the
years.
She also spent some time as a Second Life Live Helper. This
period of her life was of enormous importance to her and she
was heartbroken when Live Help became unsustainable and
closed down. Bellissa continues to pass on what knowledge
she has via the SL Mentor program.
Neptune's Kiss, Bellissa's SL business, has grown over the
years and expanded to include not only the original line of
jewelry, but a line of furniture that is created to enhance
a couple's emotional connections, along with all the oddbod
items she tends to create.
Bellissa's true love in SL (other than her partner Kiyoshi
of course), is landscaping. Her various lands are inevitably
coddled into extremely natural landscapes encompassing
sight, sound and atmosphere and are open
for the public to enjoy.
